About Ruth
Professional Background
I started my career as an editor with two major publishing houses: St. Martin's Press and Prentice-Hall, Inc. Later I transitioned into environmental sciences and worked as a hydrogeologist and project manager with a consulting firm in Massachusetts. After a move to Pennsylvania (and the addition of three children!), I spent time at home with my kids and then started my own business as a coach, tutor, and resume writer.
Coach Training & Experience
I was trained as a personal coach through the "CoachU" program founded and created by Thomas Leonard. Since finishing the program in 2001, I have worked one-on-one with diverse clients to help them reach both personal and professional goals.
My passion is to help people see and appreciate their strengths so that they can pursue their goals with confidence and enthusiasm!
